That which governs the running of the club... in theory.
Has suffered a lot over the years due to poor management, Guild losing it, adjusting to countless Guild rule changes, and that time everything was digitised.
Between 2000 and 2004 it underwent an overhaul, but was then lost by the Guild.
2005 passed a small portion of the lost changes (mostly typographical errors)
2007 had some minor tweaks
2011 allowed for disposition of doubles.
From 2013 to 2015 the Constitution was amended regularly, mostly due to Nic Browning's pedantry
2013 specified details regarding elections, and fixed a plethora of errors which had probably already been addressed in the lost years
2014 introduced actual rules for votes of confidence and no confidence, and revised the duties of VP and Treasurer
2015 outlined conditions for proxy votes in general meetings and brought UniSFA's Life Member rules in line with the Guild's
2017 saw us actually trying to alter the constitution to change things
- we allowed for disposition of other library items and provided the structure for how to do so, and fixed one typo
- we then improved these rules later that year
the club's name changed to add fantasy, largely to spite the newly formed Harry Potter club who said we weren't inclusive enough of fantasy
- allowed fresher's to vote for fresher rep and moved their election to immediately after president as freshers tend to go to their classes
2019 adjusted the structure for disposal of library items, including changing the wording to disposal rather than disposition.
A copy of the constitution, last amended 5/9/2019, is available here
The UniSFA website should have a copy too.
