This no longer reflects the current state of UniSFA, but remains here for posterity to know what we used to be like.
With the invention of that wonderful internet thingy merely sitting gossiping in the Clubroom was not enough, and rumour, smut and innuendo entered electronic format.
Blazing the gossip trail was Skippy with the production of the UniSFA Gossip Column in 1996. The gossip is still archived in all its glory and is worth a look if you want to see what the pillars of the community that are the OldGuard got up to in their youth. Skippy produced much of his finest work whilst drunk driving on the information superhighway and the results make for highly entertaining reading. Skippy has sadly retired from gossip, and the column ceased production in 2002
In response to the UniSFA Gossip Column a Pirate Gossip Column appeared, rumoured to have been written by ShayTelfer. While lacking Skippy's unique style the Pirate Pages may have been a little more factual. Although much less fun to read.
These gossip pages concentrated mostly on UniSFAns of Skippy's generation, and feeling left out some young whippersnapper started a UniSFA Gossip LiveJournal. It attempted to emulate the style pioneered by Skippy, but these young 'uns must not get up to anything good as the last post was in 2003.
There is currently a void of electronic gossip. UniSFAns occasionally get a mention in the Perth Fannish Gossip Blog, but it tends to stick to facts, something which never cramped the style of the original Gossip Column.
